Making Addiction Recovery a Reality
New Destiny Treatment Center brings recovery to individuals through psychological and emotional counseling, education, physical exercise and the spiritual guidance and healing of Christ. Our goal is to maintain our service to the Lord, while providing the most effective medication management and counseling interventions.
Realizing our Mission
New Destiny Treatment Center was born out of a mission to bring recovery to anyone caught in addiction. Back in 1993, we opened our doors with 14 men enrolled. Today, by the grace of God, we have grown to become a 60-bed facility and have helped hundreds of men and women get their lives back.
Our storied success is a direct result of visionaries in our midst who continue to recognize needs and make it their own mission to address them.
Dr. Robert Bolois, PhD, implemented our current inpatient program for men. Today, we provide a wide range of services that address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our clients. These include counseling, nutrition education, anger management, 12 Step program, medication management, exercise, nightly chapel and GED readiness for those in need. Primarily serving Summit, Stark, Medina and Wayne counties, we regularly have clients come from across the country in search of a faith-based treatment center.
In 2010 our director and physicians saw a need to expand our services by offering treatment in a non-residential setting. Today our outpatient program provides Christian counseling, medication management, and relapse prevention for both men and women.
In 2017, we expanded our reach even further, when we began providing onsite Mental Health services for our inpatient and outpatient clients. We are also able to offer counseling to the outside community who are not part of our treatment programs.
Our ambulatory detox program (medication-assisted detoxification) for our residential clients also started in 2017.
A Dedicated and Compassionate Staff
You won’t find a group of people more committed to our mission. Every member of the New Destiny team is here because they believe recovery is possible, because they believe in our Christ-centered approach, and because they want to help.
